What this website collects, why, who receives it, how long it is kept, and what your rights are over it under UK GDPR.
This site is built for lead-generation purposes. We are not the business that carries out the work; another company will contact you about your enquiry. That is the central fact for this policy: the details you send are passed to that company so they can price the job and get in touch. Everything below sets out exactly what that involves.
From the enquiry form: your name, email address, telephone number, postcode and the message you write. On a service page the form also carries a hidden field recording which service the page was about, so the enquiry arrives labelled with the right kind of job.
Alongside that, and automatically: the page you sent it from, the website you arrived from, any campaign tags in the link you followed, your IP address, your browser's user agent string, and a per-tab identifier held in your browser's session storage so that one submission is not recorded twice. RingTonic also records visits, call clicks, call events and form attribution for this site's tracking number.
If you start the form, type a valid email address and then leave without submitting, that email address and anything else you had typed is saved once. It is used to pick up the enquiry with you and nothing else, no notification is sent about it, and you can ask for it to be deleted on the same terms as everything else here.
To answer your enquiry, which means passing it to the company that would carry out the work so that they can price it and contact you. The lawful basis is our legitimate interests, and yours, in connecting an enquiry to somebody who can answer it, which is the purpose you sent it for. Where you tick a consent box, that consent is the basis and you can withdraw it at any time.
The technical details, the IP address and user agent, exist for spam prevention and rate limiting. Without them an enquiry form is filled in by automated traffic within days.
The company that would carry out the work in your area receives your enquiry in full. Our own administrative address receives a copy so that an enquiry which goes unanswered can be chased.
Beyond that, services that run this website receive the data needed for their work: Cloudflare hosts the site, stores the enquiry and sends the notification email; RingTonic measures calls and form attribution; and Twilio provides the tracking number. Nothing is sold, nothing is passed to advertisers, and nothing is used to market unrelated products to you. If you want to know who specifically received a particular enquiry, contact us and ask. Nothing you read in the drainage and plumbing resources collects anything at all: those pages carry no form.
Enquiries are kept for two years from the date they arrive, which covers the enquiry itself, any work that follows, and the period in which a question about that work might come back. An abandoned form entry is kept for six months. After those periods the records are deleted. Where work was carried out, the company that did it keeps its own records under its own policy and for its own statutory periods, which are longer.
Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, ask that it stop being used, or object to the use of it. There is no charge and we answer within one month. The practical route to all of those is to email info@drainplumbcontractors.co.uk and say which one you want.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, which is the UK regulator, at ico.org.uk. You do not have to come to us first, although it is usually quicker.
The form uses session storage, and Cloudflare Turnstile uses browser storage for its anti-spam check. RingTonic's call attribution script uses local storage and first-party cookies to remember the visit and campaign source for up to 30 days. The detail is on the cookie policy page, linked in the footer.

Send the postcode and a few lines about what the problem is doing. The answer comes back in writing, with no obligation on it either way.
